Caring for Others

Since this my very first post, I want to post something meaningful. Today I realized I need to start caring for others more. I am in the process of raising money for my school history trip. I need help but the people I am asking I have not spoken to in a long time or since this summer when I needed to raise money for camp.  This a problem I've decided to change. I don't want people to think that I want to take advantage of them.

So today I sent out texts to people to find out how they were doing and let them know how much I love them. I received great responses and it felt awesome! Here is one of the responses;

I also decided to create a schedule to check on my family and friends and tell them how much I care for them weekly. This taught me that people want to be cared for and that everyone wants to be loved. Also, showing someone that I care for them builds the relationship between me and the person.

I challenge you to check up on a family member or friend, ask how they are doing, and tell them how much you love them. This will brighten their day and yours!
